Instructional design is quite a dynamic industry.

There’s always a new shiny thing to help shape the learning experience. And if you’re part of it, having a virtual presence is not just a luxury—it’s a necessity.

Now, when you’re starting out, I don’t think it’s necessary to have all the bells and whistles – you can use a basic site even hosted somewhere for you for free (like Carrd for example), and work up to buying one with a domain name of your choosing at a later date.
